Amphetamines For Weight Loss

Some experts say that amphetamines are classified as a stimulant and function as an appetite suppressant in diet pills. There are many types of “amphetamines”, such as amphetamine, dextroamphetamine, and methamphetamine. Amphetamines have been used by some therapist since the 1920s, however, their abuse has required restriction and enforcement. All diet pills with amphetamines which contain FDA approved require a doctor’s prescription. Amphetamines can control our appetite.

Some studies have shown that consuming amphetamines increase in dopamine and cause thus pleasure—makes food more satisfying more quickly, reducing appetite and intake. As levels increase and pleasure becomes heightened, diet pills with amphetamines can easily become a kind of habits. Therefore, Amphetamines can help people lose weight quickly, and in some instances, they are even prescribed by a doctor for this purpose. However, it is not safe to use these drugs for the purpose of weight loss unless they are prescribed for exactly this reason. So here are some amphetamines for weight loss that legally can be used.

1. Dextroamphetamine

Dextroamphetamine is a prescription used in the treatment of disorders (ADHD) and narcolepsy and can be used as prescription diet pills. It is commonly found under the brand names Dexedrine and ProCentra and a more recently approved immediate-release formulation, Zenzedi. When dextroamphetamine is properly prescribed and taken accordingly, this drug can be safe and highly effective; however, when this stimulant is used for nonmedical purposes or taken in doses or methods other than prescribed, it can be very harmful. Abuse of dextroamphetamine can negatively affect user’s physically and also mentally.

2. Levoamphetamine

Levoamphetamine is a kind of amphetamines for weight loss because it contains a psychostimulant that can increase wakefulness and improved focus but it is is also known to suppress the appetite and aid in weight loss. The drug is the levorotatory stereoisomer of the amphetamine molecule hence its name, levoamphetamine. Levoamphetamine is actually much weaker than dextroamphetamine but acts in a similar manner.

3. Ritalin

The generic name of Ritalin is methylphenidate. Ritalin is a type of amphetamines weight loss. Some common side effect of any stimulant is appetite suppression, and it is very common for people who are taking Ritalin to experience weight loss medication while undergoing treatment. The stimulant level of the treatment would fit somewhere between coffee and amphetamines. It can be quite effective at making people ignore usually noticed feelings of hunger.

Even though there is no statistics on the exact percentage of people who experience weight loss, Ritalin is considered to be one of the most common side effects of treatment. The standard use of Ritalin is for ADD, ADHD, and narcolepsy, however using Ritalin for the treatment of obesity is becoming an increasingly common off-label use. It is used to treat disorders for which it was not originally intended and for which it has not received FDA approval. Though the off-prescription use of Ritalin for obesity is increasing, it would be very unusual for a doctor to consider using this medication to deal with childhood obesity. It can be concerning for children who want to lose weight. However, If kids are not eating enough and getting enough sustenance, as may be the case with Ritalin treatment, it can, unfortunately lead them to malnutrition.
